WWE: 10 Superstars Who Wrestled As Jobbers Before Later Fame

8. Christopher Daniels

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LQCPLYN2BDU A 43 year old wrestler who looks like he's 30, Christopher Daniels has been one of the most consistent workers in wrestling in the last 10 years. Currently enjoying success in TNA as one half of a tag team with Kazarian, Daniels is also a 4-time X Division champion an an 8-time tag champion in NWA/TNA. Daniels has made quite the career for himself on the independent scene, capturing countless championships around the country and cementing himself as a good in-ring worker. However, Daniels was not always the respected worker that he is today. After a stint in Puerto Rico, Daniels signed a WWF developmental deal in 1998. He started wrestling on the WWF's syndicated shows Jakked and Metal, losing to such wrestling legends as Mike Tierney and Taka Michinoku. He even was part of (albeit in secret) of the entertainingly confusing Los Conquistadors storyline involving the Hardy Boys and Edge and Christian. Daniels continued to job on WWF programming to roster members like Jerry Lynn before moving on to World Championship Wrestling and continuing his losing ways. During a match with Mike Modest, Daniels botched a springboard moonsault, landing on his neck and temporarily paralyzing one of his arms. While he never made it in WWE, Christopher Daniels has made a good living in the so-called "minor leagues" of wrestling. His success in TNA cannot be ignored and hopefully his seemingly ageless body will provide TNA fans with more memories.
