4. Steve Austin vs. The Rock - WrestleMania 17

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=srhd2fZyDB4 It's the only match on here that's a WrestleMania rematch because it was the mother of all rematches that headlined what is arguably the greatest WrestleMania ever. The fact that WWE would go to this match two years after they did it at WrestleMania 15 shows how much they believed in Austin and Rock as their top two guys. Obviously they made the right decision because the build up to the match was excellent. Rock was having the best matches of his career while Austin regained his form after missing the previous year with major neck surgery. A lot of people also remember the video package promoting the match with Limp Bizkit's song "My Way" providing the soundtrack. They ended up dumping Austin's wife Debra from the storyline, but the video did an excellent job of covering all of the key reasons why the feud was so great. When Austin said that he had to win you just knew something big was going to happen. They did a lot of things right with this match at WrestleMania 17. It also helped that it was one of the greatest matches ever with Austin winning after beating Rock down with dozens of chair shots. Austin has said he regrets doing the heel turn, but it really wasn't that bad because he went on to have a very entertaining heel run too.
