WWE: 11 Wrestlers Who Almost Died In The Ring

7. Mass Transit

Erick Kulas was just 17 years of age when he made his ECW debut, going under the name Mass Transit to team with D Von Dudley against New Jack and Mustafa Saed. It ended up being an absolute bloodbath, with New Jack devastating Mass Transit with weapons including toasters, crutches and lastly a blade. The cut job was so severe, that Transit bled in a way which made those in attendance fear for his life. The claret was literally flowing like water. So bad was the blood loss that Transit's father can be heard in fan footage screaming "Ring the f****** bell. He's 17!" Unfortunately, as medics rushed to the ring, New Jack wasn't much in the mood for concern, he took the microphone and yelled "I don't care if the motherf***** dies! He's white. I don't like white people. I don't like people from Boston. I'm the wrong n***** to fuck with." New Jack ended up being took to court by Kulas, but wasn't found guilty, it was determined that Kulas asked for the blade job to be done. Having survived the shocking blood loss, Kulas unfortunately lost his life in 2002 due to problems with his weight.
