WWE 2K25 Superstar Ratings: 10 Biggest Surprises & Snubs
6. Surprise - Super Cena (100)
This one's surprising as it's only the second time in history a wrestler has received a 100 point rating in a WWE2K game.
The first recipient of the honour was WWE2K19's Golden AJ Styles, a chrome-skinned redux of the Phenomenal One who was initially conceived as the final opponent in a legitimate Million Dollar Challenge. Super Cena may have less publicity surrounding his appearance, but he'll doubtlessly generate a lot of interest from fans eager to see just how much Super Cena replicates his real life counterpart.
Honestly, if this iteration of John Cena doesn't come with the ability to immediately bounce back from finishers and AA entire factions off his superpowered shoulders then it'll be a disappointment. After all, The "Super Cena" name came to prominence from SummerSlam 2010's notorious main event (where John Cena recovered from a DDT to the concrete floor and single-handedly wiped out WWE's hottest faction) and the video game version should be just as credibility-destroying as its inspiration.
Really, If 2K Studios wants to deliver the authentic Super Cena experience then there needs to be a minigame where Super Cena stands in the ring and delivers Attitude Adjustments to each member of the Bloodline like he was Jasper at Springfield Elementary ("Roman Reigns? Attitude Adjustment. The Usos? Attitude Adjustments. Jacob Fatu? Oh, you'd better believe that's an Attitude Adjustment").
