WWE 2K25 Superstar Ratings: 10 Biggest Surprises & Snubs

4. Surprise - Pat McAfee (80)

Pat McAfee

Presumably someone in 2K Studios is a big fan of Pat McAfee's NFL career, because there's no way the WWE commentator has done enough in the ring to warrant getting the same rating as Chad flipping Gable (no relation to Seth Freakin' Rollins).

Pat has wrestled a whopping total of seven matches in the past five years, and to be fair he's done well on each occasion - even his colossally terrible match against Vince McMahon at WrestleMania 38 still did its job in working up the crowd into a frenzy. For a part-part time wrestler, it's actually quite impressive that the only time he's embarrassed himself is when he was booked to do so at last year's Royal Rumble (when he eliminated himself from the competition rather than face Bron Breakker and Omos).

However, that example also shows the problem with Pat being rated so high. Running away from a giant like Omos and the human cannonball that is Bron Breakker might be what any normal human would do, but it's hardly a reaction befitting an actual professional wrestler. As such, it sticks in the craw to see Pat rated higher than rising superstars like J'Evonn Evans (77) and hardworking, talented wrestlers like Ludwig Kaiser (75) and Pete Dunne (76).
