WWE's TNA World Champions Ranked - From Worst To Best

10. Rhyno

Rhyno held the NWA World Heavyweight Championship for all of a fortnight in 2005, and won it in fairly curious circumstances. TNA was still a part of Planet Jarrett back then, and Jeff had a vice-like grip on the championship. He would lose it plenty enough, but you could be assured he would win it back shortly after.

At Bound for Glory that year Jarrett was scheduled to defend the title against Kevin Nash, but Big Sexy decided to withdraw due to illness. A 10-man gauntlet was held to decide a new challenger as a result, and Rhino (as he was known in TNA) last ousted Abyss to get the spot. Less than 10 minutes later Jarrett was being hit with a Gore and Rhyno was champion.

The Man Beast's run as champion would last all of two weeks, as Jarrett won the belt back on Impact. One can only assume that Rhino won the belt for a feel good ending to TNA's biggest show of the year. Thank's for coming, Terry!

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
