WWE's Top 10 Biggest Signings Of 2017
1. Kurt Angle
Fans were clamoring for a Kurt Angle return to WWE for years, but the timing never appeared to be quite right. The amount of dream matches he could have with the current roster were limitless, but whenever he looked like he would be back, he'd ultimately re-sign with TNA, a company he called home for just about ten years.
That said, WWE was what he considered his home, and the WWE Universe was relentless in demanding him back. Rumors ran rampant late last year that he would resurface after WrestleMania 33 as either an authority figure or a part-time competitor, but no one expected him to be first inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.
He was worthy of the honor, and shortly after taking his place among the immortals in the Hall over WrestleMania weekend, he returned as a regular on Raw as the show's on-screen general manager. He has played the part to perfection in the last seven months and has even laced up the boots on a few occasions.
Angle was truly one the last remaining notable names fans hoped to see come back to WWE for one more run, and his latest stint with the company has been a blast to watch. That does raise the question, though: who's next?
