WWE: 4 Superstars Who Sucked In 2012

1. Zack Ryder

zack ryder wwe I will forever give Zack his props for basically forcing WWE to put him on TV with his YouTube show. He used self-promotion extremely well by appealing to the most vocal group of WWE fans, the smarks! And by god he highlighted to the WWE that they were missing a trick as it relates to the use of the internet! And it worked for a short period! He was brought onto TV in a worthwhile capacity to be involved in a John Cena feud, It don€™t get much better than that I tells ya! He was US Champion for a period as well and defended the title quite well. Shame the same people who wanted him on TV got a bit bored of his 1 dimensional character and generic nice guy attitude. That doesn€™t stop them from wanting to see him every now and again, which WWE do to their credit, but the smarks did their damage once WWE realised he was only wanted because it was €œin€ to want him and went back to promoting guys who could draw money. But he is by far the most competent athlete on this list. He€™s clean in the ring, shows lots of energy and actually has some nice moves. He€™s worked some fairly good matches in the past given the right opponent but you can€™t help feel he€™s just a little safe and simple in his approach. However that does seem to be a part of his gimmick. Zack€™s gimmick is actually quite interesting if a little shallow. The Internet Championship actually carries some weight when you consider WWE push social media on us at every possible opportunity. He just needs a little something else about him rather than this idiot frat boy type gimmick he has going. Granted he€™s no pro on the mic but he tries with what he€™s got. It€™s all just a bit too€€.crappy. I actually believe that this character is simply Zack in real life just with a tad more volume for good measure. In the past this has worked great for guys like Triple H, Stone Cold and The Rock but they were obviously a bit more edgy in life than little Zack Ryder. He seems the type that does need some serious direction given to him otherwise he will likely fall off the wagon completely and be remembered as the goofy kid who once had ghost busters inspired ring attire. Shame he looks as though this fall into oblivion looks unstoppable.
