2. Hulk Hogan vs The Dungeon of Doom
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vGmlhJiMftM Hulkamania had arrived in WCW in a ticker tape parade of red and yellow streamers, and there were no shortage of nefarious heels who wanted to put an end to Hulkamania once and for all. One such group was the Dungeon of Doom. The Dungeon consisted of the Taskmaster Kevin Sullivan, the Shark (the one and only John Tenta aka Earthquake), Kamala, Meng, the Zodiac (the barber himself Brutus Beefcake), Big Van Vader, and soon after their formation the Giant. Hogan's feud with them would at first focus on the Giant, who was being claimed as the son of Andre the Giant, thus allowing WCW to try and recreate the magic of Hogan's feud with Andre which culminated in their Wrestlemania 3 main event. This led to such amazing memories as the time Hogan threw the Giant off the roof of Cobo Hall, only for the Giant to return for the main event that night. However, the reason that this feud gains high billing than Cena vs the Nexus has to do with the culminating match, which was a Tower of Doom Steel Cage match. This was a triple decker steel cage match, and the match was Hulk Hogan and Randy Savage vs the Alliance to end Hulkamania, which consisted of the Dungeon of Doom and 4 Horsemen members Ric Flair and Arn Anderson. Yes, 8 on 2. Hogan and Savage easily dispatched of all 8 men (yes, including one of the greatest world champions of all time) and afterwards the Dungeon moved on to feuding with people who were not Hogan and friends. The feud was as awful and Hogan ego building as it sounds, and it even won the not so coveted award of
Worst Feud of the Year for 1995 from dirt sheet writer Dave Meltzer and his Wrestling Observer. So, not only was this a terrible feud, but it has been certified as such.
