3. Not Immediately Turning Him A Heel
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sJQjrkkWwV4 When a wrestler of notable prominence returns to WWE after a long hiatus there are generally expected to be cheered, despite any of their past transgressions. It's why notable heels such as Million Dollar Man and Rowdy Rowdy Piper garner such favorable reactions when they return. Not only is it for nostalgia's sake, but leaving is really the only way to refresh a character in WWE. When Batista first returned, instead of trying to be the John Cena prototypical babyface, WWE should have immediately turned him heel. There is precedence for this sort of thing as Jericho turned heel when he returned in 2012 to feud with CM Punk. If he comes out and power bombs Daniel Bryan he immediately becomes the biggest heel in the company. Batista is around 6'5" 270 lbs he should be a bully, not a pandering face. Batista's last few months in the company saw him doing some of the best work of his career, as a pseudo Kanye West money hungry heel. Since his return Batista has carried himself like a jerk and he has dressed like a douche bag. He acts and has the appearance of someone you would seemingly root against. From his painted on ultra-skinny jeans, to his open track jacket, complete with sunglasses, everything about him screams guy I love to hate. Even his tattoos make him seem like a tool. His back tattoo looks like one of Jerry Lawler's awful Affliction t-shirts. Fans want to boo Batista so WWE should give them every reason to do so.
