3. Make Better Use Of All Resources

Re-matches can be exciting. Maybe the bad guy won, and you want to see the good guy get redemption. Hey, maybe they've even had two matches, and need a third to determine who the better man is in the feud. Give me a best of 7 even, with an engaging story and a few gimmicks to hold my interest. But please, don't keep giving me the same matches with no identifiable reason for wanting to see them again and again. Last week's Raw featured an astonishing number of match-ups that had just happened the night before at Survivor Series. Is it sad that I've even tired of seeing my favourites wrestle favourites every week? I think I have favourite fatigue. Meanwhile, a sizable chunk of the roster sits in the dressing room, twiddling their thumbs and hoping that one of the many recycled bouts could at least be a Lumberjack Match. This is a terrible way to motivate your staff to excel in the ring. It comes off as a lack of faith in their abilities, and breeds contempt backstage. But perhaps most importantly, it comes off as lazy to the fans, and breeds contempt in the audience. Make some new matches, you have ample resources!
