WWE: 55 Greatest Superstars Of The 21st Century

4. Stone Cold Steve Austin

stonecold copy Stone Cold's prime may have been in the 90's but he certainly still made an impact in the WWE. He was the leader of Team WWE against the invading Alliance faction that was led by Stephanie and Shane McMahon. After coming out victorious by turning on Team WWE and stunning Kurt Angle, Austin said f*ck you to Vince McMahon as The Rattlesnake returned to his old self and began a feud with Angle. Austin eventually beat Kurt Angle and claimed back the WWE Championship. At the same time, Austin's popular catch phrase "What?" took off and became more popular then anyone could've ever imagined. In 2002 Austin's career was coming to a close with several back and nagging neck injuries. He had one more match left in the tank and who better than to have it against his greatest rival of all time, The Rock at Wrestlemania 19. My personal all time favorite match, The Rock and Austin stole the show with an incredible back and forth contest that was eventually won by The Rock. Austin knew that his time was up but he went out the same way he came in, a champion. Stats: 6 time WWE Champion 2 time Intercontinental Champion 2001 Royal Rumble winner 5th Triple Crown Champion WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2009

3. The Undertaker

The Undertaker The Phenom has been the most feared force of the WWE for over 20 years. At the beginning of the 21 century The Undertaker was doing The American Badass gimmick and it was ehhh, ok. It wasn't until 2004 that The Deadman made his real return. In 2004 he had some great feuds with JBL, Randy Orton and Kane who he beat at Wrestlemania. Then his next big wins came in 2007. First he won his first ever Royal Rumble and followed it up by beating Batista at Wrestlemania 23 for the World Heavyweight Championship. Now a days The Undertaker's biggest test comes from Wrestlemania and his quest to continue the famous streak. In my humble opinion I don't think the streak will be beaten nor should it be. The streak happened by accident but now it's become legendary, just like The Undertaker himself. Stats: 3 time WWE World Heavyweight Champion 2 time WWE Champion Royal Rumble winner 2007 21-0 at Wrestlemania

2. The Rock

therock1 The Rock has been electrifying us all since since 1996. In 2001 The Rock returned to the WWE and joined forces with the WWE in order to fight The Alliance. After coming out victious, he later went on to beat Booker T at Summerslam to become the WCW Heavyweight Champion. He then lost the belt to Jericho but it wasn't long before The Rock won gold again, claiming the tag team titles. One of The Rock's more memorable moments came at Wrestlemania 18 when him and Hulk Hogan had a match for the ages. There wasn't a person sitting down in the Toronto Dome, it was absolutely electric. After helping put an end to the NWO, The Rock set his eyes on the title. Feuding with Kurt Angle, The Rock claimed his 7th WWE Championship title by defeating Kurt Angle at the Vengeance PPV. The Rock eventually dropped the title to Brock Lesnar before taking off on one of his hiatuses. The Rock came back to announce that he would be the host of Wrestlemania 27 which was the beginning of his feud with John Cena. Costing Cena the title at Mania, The Rock and Cena agreed to a match at Wrestlemania 28 the very next night on Raw. A match booked so far in advance was unheard of. The build up lacked at times but the match didn't disappoint, with The Rock eventually coming out victorious. Later in the year, The Rock beat CM Punk for the WWE Championship at the Royal Rumble claiming his 8th WWE Championship, the first title he held in over 10 years. The Rock may no longer be a full time guy but whenever he does decide to come back again, I'll be there to watch with eyes wide open. Who knows, we might just get another Rock Concert too. Undoubtably the most electrifying man in aaaaaaall of entertainment. Stats: 8 time WWE Champion 2 time Intercontinental Champion 5 time WWE Tag Team Champion 6th Triple Crown Champion
