5. The Real-Life Heat
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3ez0H4O2-_I Rather than be a great feud in spite of the animosity between the two men, maybe it would be a great feud because of it after all, when legitimate hatred between two competitors carries over to the screen, it can make their issues seem just a little more intense. We've all seen it happen with Edge and Matt Hardy, Hulk Hogan and Vince McMahon, and of course, Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels. This isn't to say that The Rock and HBK would take liberties with each other in the ring both men are far too smart and professional for that just that the clash may be a bit more biting than we've seen before. Even Shawn, who's matured so much since finding religion, is still capable of some ultra-entertaining pettiness look no further than his 2005 feud with Hulk Hogan for proof. The Rock, meanwhile, is hilariously ultra-acerbic to people he actually likes I wouldn't want to be on his bad side. Plus, lest we forget, this is the internet age there are no more "smarts" and "marks," and everybody is plugged in. A program between Rock and Michaels would bring their bad blood to the front pages of wrestling news sites all over the web, and that, in turn, would amplify interest and crowd reaction (if either of those things can even be amplified any further in a feud between The Rock and Shawn Michaels).
