WWE: 6 Reasons Why Triple H Shouldn't Hate Online Fans
2. We Really Don't Hate Him. Right?
There's definitely a love/hate relationship between Triple H and internet wrestling fans. It's not because Hunter is very active on the internet; it's not like he writes blogs or does interactive sessions with the fans. He has been on Twitter for the last year or so, but he's not engaging fans too much. The reason some fans love him is obviously because of all the great work he's done as a wrestler. Why is he hated? Because there's a perception that he's only in his position because he married Vince McMahon's daughter Stephanie. Some of the other hate is because people think he held down other talents. Hunter won so many feuds throughout the 2000s that he's always going to be hated by some fans. That's just how it is. Hunter knows what people think about him. He talked about it on his DVD. It doesn't really bother him at times, but clearly if he makes sarcastic insults at fans during Raw when it has nothing to do with a storyline then there may be something to the idea that he is bothered by it. It's hard to know what percentage of fans like or dislike him, but most people at this point probably like him and respect what he's done in his career. At least that's how they should feel.
