Was Gangrel a guy that had supernatural powers or was he simply a vampire? Considering the ring entrance he had plus the ability to drop buckets of blood from the ceiling of a wrestling arena, it's safe to say he had some powers. The Brood, which was led by Gangrel, also had Edge and Christian as part of the group back in the days when they weren't cutting hilarious promos. They actually made it a point to not have Christian speak while he was part of the group. When he finally spoke, it was a big deal. Part of the reason they did that was to put over the idea that Gangrel was this really powerful guy. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ALFMYWFRjQs A lot of people remember the ring entrance of Gangrel when he entered the arena via the stage as a ring of fire surrounded him. It was ominous and cool. It also must have been really hot. Then there were the blood baths. There were times during matches when The Brood didn't really feel like wrestling and instead the lights would go out, then blood would land on some poor victim and it freaked everybody out. Gangrel's WWE career didn't last that long, but he was one of the few wrestlers that did have some supernatural powers.
