"I'm The Boogeyman and I'm coming to get you!" One of the most bizarre characters in wrestling history was The Boogeyman. Everything about him was weird from the giant clock he carried to the ring, the scary music he had, ominous red lights, drool from his mouth and of course the worms that he seemed to love. As a wrestler, The Boogeyman wasn't very good. His matches were often very short because he was such a limited performer and nobody really cared about his matches. It was all about an over the top, ridiculous character. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Os4hME0mcyg There are stories of Marty Wright, the guy that played The Boogeyman, staying in character a lot of the time when he wasn't in the arena too. The guy must have really liked playing that character. They even tried to do a Mini Boogeyman vs. Hornswoggle feud at one point, so apparently one of The Boogeyman's powers was to procreate too. The less we remember about The Boogeyman, the better.
