WWE: 8 Things That Make The Shield So Good?

the shield Sierra. Hotel. India. Echo. Lima. Delta. Six simple words, three of the most interesting superstars in the business today. These straightforward words send shivers down the spines of many superstars, and many viewers who have watched these three men rise up the WWE ladder so quickly. November 18th 2012 saw the annual Survivor Series pay-per-view taking place in the city of Indianapolis. The night saw some half-decent matches taking place as Team Clay defeated Team Tensai; who are now officially partners; known as 'Tons Of Funk'. On the same night, Eve defeated Kaitlyn to retain her Diva's Championship, Antonio Cesaro retained his United States Championship against R-Truth whilst Sheamus defended his World Heavyweight Championship against The Big Show after he was disqualified. The final two matches saw Team Ziggler which consisted of Dolph Ziggler, Damien Sandow, David Otunga, Wade Barrett and Alberto Del Rio, take on and defeat Team Foley which consisted of The Miz, Kofi Kingston, Team Hell No as well as Randy Orton. But it is what occurred in the main event which will not be forgotten for many years to come, CM Punk who was well into his brilliant title reign as he took on John Cena and Ryback for the WWE Championship in a triple threat match. The match came to an end when three black-clad men appeared from the crowd, hitting a triple powerbomb on Ryback through a table, thus allowing CM Punk to pin John Cena and retain his WWE Championship. This was a massive statement from Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns; who we now know as The SHIELD. Over the course of their tenure in the main roster, The SHIELD have soared in popularity, fans eagerly await to see when the trio will actually appear to take out various superstars, and are left disappointed when The SHIELD don't appear. They have made some pretty bold statements, laying out the likes of John Cena, Ryback, Sheamus, Randy Orton and we cannot forget The SHIELD laying the Smackdown on The Rock. Since then, the only way is up for this dangerous team, with Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns capturing the Tag Team Championships after defeating Team Hell No at Extreme Rules, whilst Dean Ambrose, arguably the most charismatic of the trio managed to defeat Kofi Kingston for the United States Championship on the same night; a bold move from creative but they know that The SHIELD can carry this burden. But what is it that actually makes The SHIELD so good? What is it about them that we cannot get enough of? Why is it that we want The SHIELD to wreak havoc everywhere they go? Let's take a look at why they have gotten over with the fans, and remained red hot.
