WWE And TNA: 7 Worst Moments Of The Week (Feb 28)

5. The Leap Of Stupidity

Tigre Uno proved to be the biggest fool in wrestling this week, or perhaps he just proved that the X-Division title is worthless. He battled Trevor Lee inside of the six sides of steel, and had his opponent on the ground while he was on the top of the cage. All he had to do was crawl down, or jump, or fall to the other side, which was the ground, and he would have won. Instead, he leapt off the top of the cage back into the ring, and lost shortly after. €œDid Tigre make a mistake?€ Josh Matthews asked right after the jump. Why yes Josh, that€™s pretty obvious. Because him going off the other side of the cage is a 100% chance at winning, going the other direction means the match continues. Well afterwards, neither of the announcers questioned why Tigre would have bothered to do such a stupid thing. It would be like playing a game of tennis against someone you don't like. You€™re about to win the final set, but instead of finishing it out normally so you can win the tournament easily, you decide to play the rest of the game by putting a tennis racket down your pants to show off. You then lose because it€™s hard to swing a racket in your pants (or so I€™ve heard). This is exactly what Tigre Uno did! Be better than that Tigre.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
