6. Oh. Hey Stardust.
The Stardust character started out decently enough. WWE had dropped the ball on Cody Rhodes for so long that he needed a new direction. While his Goldust inspired change could have been an embarrassing flop, Cody was good enough in the role to make it somewhat interesting. Management gave up on the character, though, and the last time we saw him he lost a squash match to Ryback, and couldnt defeat R-Truth. After his father passed away, it would have been a great time for another change. Yet upon his return he was the same old Stardust, and no one seemed to know how to feel about it. The crowd wasnt ready to boo him, as they didnt feel comfortable jeering a man who recently lost his father. WWE did give him a cheap win on Raw, but then quickly un-did that on SmackDown in a direct rematch where he lost. It seems that the only reason the match was booked twice is so they could re-use the comic book graphics they made up. Cody/Stardust is stuck right where he was months ago. When Eddie Guerrero passed away, WWE immediately dropped Chavo Guerrero's horrendous Kerwin White gimmick in response. While Stardust isnt that level of bad, its clear that management will continue to be fine with wasting his talent.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at."
Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week.
