WWE And TNA: 7 Worst Moments Of The Week (July 20)
4. Cesaro And Heyman Call It Quits Off-Air
Much like Curtis Axel and Ryback before him, Cesaro seems to be done with Paul Heyman. They just couldnt get along I guess. Maybe they got tired of travelling around the country, and spending all of their free time together when the camera is off. Thats all we can really assume at least, because WWE gave us absolutely no reason for why they split. Hopefully WWE realizes that they didnt give the duo much a chance, and doesnt take out their failure to get over on either one of them. Cesaro rarely got to speak since the pairing, he lost half his matches, and he didnt receive any storyline support to back him up. It was obvious to most that it wasnt going to get him anywhere, but Vince McMahon must have felt different. On Raw, JBL and Jerry Lawler speculated that Heyman had been fired. Cole then rightfully treated them like idiots and said he saw him earlier in the day. When Heyman later talked with The Authority, he seemed to be hinting that Brock Lesnar was returning as Plan C. While that's cool and all, would it really have killed WWE to keep Cesaro with Heyman, so he could receive the rub of appearing alongside Brock? God forbid that anyone else happens to get over during the same time period that management wants Roman Reigns to get over. Youd think over the course of six hours of TV a week, WWE would have enough time for establishing two upcoming wrestlers.
As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at."
Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week.
