WWE And TNA: 7 Worst Moments Of The Week (June 28)

2. 17 Minutes... Just Because

There were a couple things that were frustrating about Roman Reigns vs. Sheamus on Raw. For starters, look at WWE€™s depth chart. As far as full-time wrestlers go, Sheamus is probably, what the No. 3 heel in the company after Seth Rollins and maybe Bray Wyatt? On the face side, Roman Reigns is behind John Cena, and that€™s about it. So this could easily be a pay-per-view match within the next few months. With the right build, in theory, people would pay to watch it. Instead, it was tossed out in the middle of Raw, with absolutely zero hype, went for 17 minutes and we didn€™t even get a finish. We didn€™t see Sheamus gloat in an interview later how he scared off Roman, or some sort of heel nonsense. They just cut to Reigns backstage, and there was no announcement of who won. WWE doesn€™t seem to respect our time. If you add in ring introductions, the two took up close to 20 minutes of TV time, which is about the length of a sitcom. As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
