WWE And TNA: 7 Worst Moments Of The Week (March 22)
6. So About The Turd...
Last week on SmackDown, we were left in a heightened state of anticipation. It was hard to sleep after the show aired. We couldnt wait to find out the answer to the shows brilliant cliffhanger. All of the wrestling world, no, the entire world, had a simple question that they needed answered: Why is Daniel Bryan a turd? You don't just call someone a turd in real life or on TV and not explain why! Raw didnt follow up on this. Neither did SmackDown. So...its over? The turd thing is no longer a thing? With such a short time to go before WrestleMania, it was a curious route for WWE to go in.They wanted us to believe that that Bryan is disliked by all the wrestlers in the back. Both Dolph Ziggler and Dean Ambrose accused him of being a piece of fecal matter, but then neither one of them bothered to explain why. In fact, after Ziggler pinned Bryan on this weeks SmackDown (a questionable choice considering that it hurts Bryan more than it helps Ziggler) the two shook hands! Maybe WWE will go back to it on the final Raw or SmackDown before WrestleMania, but perhaps the whole ordeal has just been wiped from their memory.
As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at."
Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week.
