Was a rematch between Justin Gabriel and Fandango really the best that Daniel Bryan could come up with when he took over Raw for the night? Did he really just book a rematch from Main Event of The Bunny and Adam Rose vs. Natalya and Tyson Kidd? Did he really want to see that match again? And on SmackDown when he was the GM for another night, was he just dying to see Nikki Bella take on Emma? It never matters who gets to run Raw for the night, the matches and feel of the shows are exactly the same, which renders the entire concept useless. Hey, Bryan was in ROH, why not call up Sami Zayn and Kevin Steen for the night and have them wrestle! How about bring in Dr. Shelby as a special ref? Why not make Kane fight a bear? Do something fun! Not only that, but Bryan let Rusev not say the pledge of allegiance and then didnt make him fight in the battle royal that night like he said.He waited until SmackDown to get his revenge. Unfortunately, he didn't bother to ask any of the top 20 stars in the company if the wanted to be in the battle royale, which means Rusev won again. Talk about your all time backfires!
As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at."
Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week.
