WWE Backlash 2016: 10 Things You Might Have Missed

6. The 'Super Hype Bros' Sign

There's an old-school babyface vibe to The Hype Bros. Mojo Rawley is all-energy, bursting through the curtain and continuing to act like he's super charged until the end of his segments. Zack Ryder feeds off of this, even though he's the much more experienced performer of the two. It's clear both men enjoy teaming together.

Fan signs might not be as prevalent as they were during the Attitude Era (seriously, go back and watch any show from that period on the WWE Network for proof), but occasionally some people just come up with sheer gold. That was the case for one gentleman in the front row at Backlash, he mixed Rawley and Ryder with pop culture to great effect.

Holding up his sign several times during The Hype Bros vs. The Usos, this fan had a placard showing green pipes from the Super Mario universe. In addition, the sign was emblazoned with the words, 'Super Hype Bros', and showed mini versions of Rawley and Ryder popping out the top of each pipe.

A small nugget, but given that it wasn't on screen for very long, one sign well worth pointing out.
