Also, they should do this.

There was a time when an outraged John Cena would've tut-tutted at Randy Orton for trying to end careers or target legends. On the 2 May SmackDown, Randy implied that he's ready to return to his old 'Legend Killer' ways by ending Cena's career once and for all, and slightly earlier than planned. That probably won't happen. Instead, there's a greater chance that it's Cena who will exorcise old ghosts by taking a page out of Orton's book.

Now he's a heel, John might try to punt Randy's skull into the third row just out of sheer badness. That'd flip the script on how things used to be, and it'd put across how much of a dirtbag Cena is willing to become in 2025. Seeing him moonlight as Orton circa 2009-ish (complete with anger management issues) is surely something fans of the time thought they'd never see.

That's exactly why it should happen. This is JC's retirement run, and it's imperative that his new heel twist tries on some quirks he couldn't have tried on before. After felling Randy, Cena's eyes would light up as he resisted the urge to hit his usual volley of moves (Five Knuckle Shuffle etc) and then reeled back ready to strike and blast Orton right on the side of the head.

What's more, John would actually go through with it and give one of his greatest rivals a taste of his own medicine. BAM! That's for all those victims of your 'Viper' past, Randall. Of course, it'd be lovely if Cena had some help when setting up the finish...
