A new report from PWInsider states that Vince McMahon and other high-ranking WWE officials' bad moods have become a running joke backstage in the company.

Speaking on the site's Elite Audio show, Mike Johnson stated that McMahon became a "grumpy SOB" in the aftermath of the XFL going down, with sources inside the company telling him that they were going to try and stay away from the WWE Chairman for as long as they possibly could. One claimed that they'd go outside and sit in their car or take the widest possible path to avoid Vince.

Johnson went on, stating that these huffs were "a running joke within the company," adding that while it's great to get a raise and promotion in WWE, the kind you don't want is one that puts you in Vince's direct line of sight.

It's easy to understand why Vince might not be in the best of moods right now, given everything currently going on around him. With the XFL's collapse, the ongoing global health crisis, and cratering viewerships, he has a lot to deal with - but that doesn't make the idea of wrestlers laughing behind his back any less amusing.
