Enzo Amore and Big Cass are quickly turning into the same kind of success story for 2016 that The New Day were for 2015. Last year, New Day instantly started to win over fans with their witty dialogue and comedic flourishes. Similarly, Enzo and Cass are building that kind of connection with people, fans just adore them right now.

At Battleground, the tandem's promo time was stretched to accommodate this organic bond between performer and audience. Not only did they run through their usual catchphrase-laden banter, but there was a particularly inspiring verbal performance by Enzo that just captured the imagination.

Even John Cena looked impressed, and he managed to resist stepping in and stealing any spotlight. This was all about the newcomers, as it should be in such a situation. For around five minutes, Amore and Cass were given the opportunity to shine like stars on the microphone, and they grasped that chance with both hands like it would never come again.

Keep this kind of fare up, and it most certainly will. This may have been scripted, but it sure didn't feel forced.
