Scanning the list of those who have held the WWE United States Title in 2016 thus far, Roman Reigns is certainly the most high profile. Others include Kalisto, Alberto Del Rio and Rusev, the latter of course staring at the lights for Reigns at Clash Of Champions.

Rusev's 126-day stint at United States Champion has come to an end, falling 20 days short of his previous 146-day stint with the patriotic belt. Now, the onus falls on Reigns to carry the title with distinction, giving a nice feel to the title situation on Raw. Currently, of the titles active on the brand, there are 2 heel champions and 3 babyface ones.

To that point, Reigns is still considered a 'good guy' by the promotion, despite the fact that many fans jeer him during appearances. It's likely Roman will now move on from feuding with Rusev, leaving the Bulgarian without a clear issue on television.

Clash Of Champions featured just one title switch, and it favoured Roman Reigns. If nothing else, his detractors can be happy that he's being kept away from the WWE Universal Title for now.
