WWE CWC: 9 Most Awesome Spots From This Week’s Show (July 20)
7. Headscissor Takedown… And Dab
One man who particularly impressed on Wednesday night’s show
was former TNA star TJ Perkins.
After plenty of talk, he more than lived up his billing with some of the evening’s most exciting spots. One of which being his series of Headscissor takedowns in the early going of his match with Da Mack.
Not only did pull the move off while standing on his head, he managed to keep his feet locked around his opponent’s neck, harking back to Cruiserweight forebear Eddie Guerrero and his Three Amigos.
And to top it all off, after the second one he threw in a dab for good measure, much to the delight of the Full Sail crowd. That kind of technique combined with the taunting demonstrated the perfect blend of his character’s high-flying ability and flashy showmanship
Adding to all that, it brought Daniel Bryan up to speed on his popular culture references. A win-win for everybody!
