WWE Draft 2017: 10 Things That Need To Happen

1. Shinsuke Nakamura Stays On SmackDown

SmackDown is currently lacking in main event-level talent, what with John Cena taking time off to plan a wedding and break Hollywood. With AJ Styles, The Miz, Bray Wyatt, and Randy Orton serving as the brand's only believable World Champions and contenders (three of whom have already held the belt since the brand split), SmackDown needed somebody who can swoop in and instantly light a fire underneath the WWE Championship.

After Wyatt vs. Orton wound up being one of the worst matches of WrestleMania 33, the 'most prestigious prize in sports entertainment' ought to be removed from the realms of maggot projections and burning houses - at least for the foreseeable future - and should be restored to its former status as a belt that's fought for in tantalising main event matches.

As one of the most exciting and dramatic wrestlers on the planet, Shinsuke Nakamura has the potential to do all of this and more, which makes a lengthy tenure on SmackDown essential for the 'King of Strong Style'.

Sure, there might be more 'dream matches' for Nakamura on RAW, but the red brand has had a pretty huge influx of talent over the last twenty four hours, and Nakamura would only get lost in the shuffle.

Besides, a lot of those matches have already taken place in NXT, whereas fresh opponents (and of course, AJ Styles) await Shinsuke over in the 'land of opportunity'.
