WWE Evolution: 6 Most Likely Outcomes

5. Asuka Will Win The Historic Women's Battle Royal

While having an all-women's battle royal is a relatively nice way to mark the occasion, as it will feature a horde of legendary women superstars, it's also a terribly lazy attempt to conceal the fact that bad booking has left some of the company's most talented female superstars without anything of importance for Evolution.

Thus, they've been lumbered together just to be featured on the card. Moreover, what's the point of this when we now have a women's Royal Rumble match?Issues aside, it does present WWE with a rare opportunity to undo some of damage they have done to one superstar this year.

That superstar is none other than Asuka.

'The Empress of Tomorrow' has been a lost cause since that hideous rivalry with Carmella (and James Ellsworth) earlier this year made her look like an incompetent fool. The storyline received major backlash from fans as it demolished every shred of momentum Asuka ever built up. However, this is finally the chance for the creative team to redeem themselves.

As a future Women's Championship match awaits the winner, this would be the perfect opportunity for Asuka to skip the journey back to the top (you know WWE don't care about that), allowing her to pick up right where she left off. The women's division hasn't been the same without her presence and, quite frankly, she's been gone long enough.

Expect this to be the beginning of her triumphant return to prominence.
