15. Kane's Mask During A Backstage Segment

After Ambrose and Harper hightailed it out of the building in their car, and the commentators did their best "what just happened lol" schtick, the cameras went backstage for an Authority segment. While viewers couldn't have avoided how much it dragged - the Chicago crowd bellowed BORING en mass - what some reader might not have seen was a perspex box sitting on the table in the background. While the mask was undoubtably there to make the viewers question Kane's loyalty, or whether he'd revert back to his demonic persona, the presence of the box raises a few questions. First of all, who brought it? Did the authority lug it down? Why would they do that, to constantly remind Kane that they own him? Did Kane bring it? Is it his security blanket that he likes to hold when things get too real? Why did nobody acknowledge it? Is it there for all their meetings? WHY WAS THE MASK THERE?
