WWE Fastlane 2016: 10 Things That Must Happen Tonight
7. The Dudley Boyz Challenge For The Tag-Team Titles
It makes sense that WWE would want to have a WWE Tag-Team Title match at Fastlane, but there's no real clear challenger at the moment. The creative team haven't really come through with any big babyface push for The Usos. A few months ago, they were aligned with Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns as 'The Family', and seemed poised to bag the belts. Fast forward to now, and they still haven't been able to get the job done. At the Royal Rumble, they were defeated by The New Day, meaning a straight two-on-two encounter may feel a little forced. After all, why do they deserve a straight up shot again? Perhaps WWE will choose to present a 'Tag-Team Turmoil' bout, which seems to be their go to tag match when they're out of ideas. During such a bout, The Dudley Boyz could crash the party and stop the match from concluding. New Day would retain the belts, but Bubba Ray and D-Von would grab the mic and question why they weren't picked to be involved. The Dudleyz vs. The New Day vs. The Usos at WrestleMania would be fun, maybe with a cool twist on the old story of New Day hating on tables. This time, they'd embrace them.
