WWE Fastlane 2016: 10 Things That Must Happen Tonight

4. Steve Austin's WrestleMania Role Revealed

The event is the next pay-per-view on the calendar after Fastlane, and people still don't know exactly what Steve Austin is doing at WrestleMania 32. 'Stone Cold' isn't just any run-of-the-mill performer, he's one of the most cherished names in the history of the entire promotion. WWE must at least drop a hint as to his role for 'Mania at Fastlane. There have been those discussing on social media the likelihood of Austin being in the corner of Roman Reigns come WrestleMania. If so, there's a chance he could be opposite Vince McMahon, who would be there representing Triple H. Say that was going to be the case, the company should make Fastlane seem vital and get the ball rolling on things there. Even something as simple as having Austin there as a special guest, only to run in to McMahon backstage. Sure, their rivalry has been played to death, but there would be a sense of excitement at the thought of seeing them at loggerheads just one last time. WWE want fans to associate the cool vibes of Austin with someone like Reigns, which is difficult, but there's a chance they might try it.
