WWE Greatest Royal Rumble Wrestlers - Where Are They Now?
30. Luke Gallows
Entry: #21

Then: Hopes were high when Luke Gallows returned to WWE in 2016. Being aligned with AJ Styles worked wonders for his tag-team partnership with Karl Anderson, but it wasn't too long before the creative team began overlooking The Good Brothers completely. They were jobbers to the stars at best just a year or so into their run with the promotion.
Come 2018's Greatest Royal Rumble, 'Big LG' was tasked with walking down the lengthy ramp and hitting the ring for around 10 minutes. Yep, that's about all there is to say about his time in the match. It was filler. Gallows scored no eliminations before being eliminated himself by Rey Mysterio.
Naturally, due to his physical size, the commentators tried to put Luke over by claiming he'd be a wrecking ball in the Rumble. Not quite. He was making up the numbers and nothing more.
Now: Gallows has made a TNA/Impact Wrestling comeback, worked a little for AEW and even received another go-around in WWE since his April 2020 budget cut release. That 2022-2025 run was even less remarkable than his prior one, which is really saying something. At times, The Good Brothers did exactly nothing. Some might've forgotten that they were on the roster at all.
New Japan and the independents have kept Luke going post-(latest) WWE release. That could well be the end of his days with the market leader. The writers tried to get more out of Gallows years ago, failed, and then he settled into a groove of just sort of being there. He's much better elsewhere.
