This past June, Randy Orton trolled the NXT roster on Twitter shortly after TakeOver: In Your House by pointing out how many times workers slapped their legs when delivering kicks.

It was peak Randy, and it didn't sit well with some who felt he was being a tad harsh to guys and gals striving to work their way up the WWE ladder.

Now, months on, the legendary Bret Hart has chimed in to say he agrees with Orton's assessment. Bret said that he believes his brother Owen was the one who actually started that trend to begin with way back in the 1990s, and then revealed that he never really liked his younger sibling's leg slapping when feigning contact.

In short, Hart concurs with Randy's thoughts. He told listeners tuning into his 'Confessions Of The Hitman' podcast that "it's kind of true".

Bret was notoriously protective of his snug-but-safe in-ring work for decades. He wrote in his stunning autobiography that it meant everything to him to ensure that punches and kicks looked real without injuring his peers.

Hart thinks Orton has a point here - he doesn't like the leg slaps either.
