WWE Legend Returns For MAJOR Storyline On SmackDown

Happy Corbin might've just found himself a new manager on WWE SmackDown.

JBL is back on WWE TV.

The former World Champ returned during a backstage segment with Happy Corbin on Friday's episode of SmackDown, and it looks like he'll become Corbin's new manager for the foreseeable future. This, for reference, is something Layfield has been campaigning for all year.

Now, it seems, JBL has his wish - his trademark white limo (complete with bull horns) pulled up in the parking lot area following Corb's loss to Shinsuke Nakamura on the show. Layfield was never shown on camera, but viewers did hear his voice saying: "What happened to you? Get in!".

Michael Cole also mentioned that it sounded a hell of a lot like his old commentary buddy. Gee, Cole. You think?!

Seriously though, this could either be something special for Corbin or a total disaster. WWE may try to turn Happy into the next coming of JBL by presenting him as some money-savvy cowboy type who reigns supreme over the rest of SmackDown's midcard pack.

That wouldn't be a bad spot for him, to be fair. Don't be shocked if JBL is on TV proper from next week.
