WWE Makes Two Major Errors On This Week's Raw

Eagle-eyed fans spotted two big blunders from WWE on its Monday night flagship.

These days, wrestling fans love to keep an eye out for inevitable errors on WWE programming. Because… well, because it’s fun to point out the remarkably stupid mistakes a billion-dollar company and its plentiful employees have let slip through the net.

From this week’s Raw, eagle-eyed viewers have found two such bloopers – one of which is a major continuity error, the other which comes across as borderline racist.

First-up, it’s The Big Dog. Yes, somebody may have indeed taken the time to try and murder Roman Reigns yet again on WWE Raw, but clearly nobody took the time to make sure that continuity was being stuck to.

After a mystery attacker drove their car into Roman’s SUV, viewers saw the visible damage caused to Reigns’ vehicle. It’s just a shame, then, that when Raw returned from its ad break, the SUV didn’t show any signs of even slight damage.

The second error on this week’s Raw was an utterly awful blunder that saw the graphic for The Kabuki Warriors’ entrance list them as Kairi Sane and Io Shirai. Yes, Io Shirai. Not Asuka. Definitely Io Shirai.

Surely there’s a simply explanation behind this mistake, but some will see it as WWE getting Io and Asuka mixed up because all Japanese females clearly look exactly the same to the company. Now all we need is for SummerSlam to list Taka Michinoku as defending the Intercontinental Title against Ali.

Seriously, both the SUV damage and the name mix-up are absolute basics. But then again, this is a WWE that constantly sees Vince McMahon making last-minute changes during live broadcasts – so that’s not going to help matters run smoothly.
