2. Rollins & Ambrose Piece Together Old-School Brawl
In an age of fast-paced matches complete with impossible kickouts of big moves and weapon shots, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose were a credit to themselves with how they handled their WWE Title match at Money In The Bank. The history was there between both guys, having been partners in The Shield, and there's a renegade, almost maverick quality to Ambrose which makes him the perfect character to chase the more-protected Rollins. There were big stunts during the bout, but for the most part Rollins and Ambrose put together a story. There was a distinctly old-school flavour on show, especially when Seth hammered away on Dean's knee, hoping to prevent his foe from being able to climb the ladder and secure the belt. In today's wrestling world, that kind of logical approach is more than welcome. This one felt like a throwback, and that's a good thing. Ok, so Ambrose likely won't sell the leg injuries sustained for any real length of time, but at least the thought was there to incorporate a sinister heel beatdown into the mindset of the match type.
