WWE Money In The Bank 2016: 10 Things That Must Happen
2. Dean Ambrose Bags The Briefcase
Aside from a few obvious top names like Roman Reigns and Randy Orton, the 2015 Money In The Bank Ladder Match field was nowhere near as good as the 2016 one promises to be. Sami Zayn, Cesaro and Kevin Owens all feel like fresh faces in the mix, and they're only bolstered by the other entrants.
Alberto Del Rio is on the mend following the League Of Nations experiment, and Chris Jericho is a veteran of these bouts. Then there's Dean Ambrose, the man most people seem to believe will leave with the briefcase in his clutches. There's a simple reason for that: it just makes perfect sense.
Having Ambrose win Money In The Bank is an enticing prospect, especially when looking at who else is involved in the WWE Title picture. Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins were both formerly in The Shield with Ambrose, so there's a natural story waiting to be told.
Dean Ambrose is often written as WWE's nearly man, so it's time he was given the chance to shine above everyone else.
