WWE Money In The Bank 2025: 7 Things That Must Happen

5. Becky Lynch Becomes Women’s IC Champ

Last month at Backlash, this guy casually suggested taking the Women’s Intercontinental Title off of Lyra Valkyria and putting it on Becky Lynch due to star power reasons. WWE should still do that. They didn't on the last PLE, but they should make it reality come Money In The Bank. That's no sad reflection on Lyra's title reign either, by the way.

Valkyria is starting to come into her own on the mic and finally has a voice, but it’s clear she’d be best chasing rather than leading. Dunno, the belt would just feel a lot more lofty on someone like Lynch, and it opens up all manner of fresh matches for the title featuring some of the fresh faces popping up on Raw. For example, Becky vs. Stephanie Vaquer? Yes. Lynch tangling with Giulia (assuming Triple H is totally cool with ignoring brand rules, which he certainly seems to be)? Sure.

The story heading into this match says that Lyra would have to raise Becky's hand if her old mentor took home the win and thus became new Women's IC Champ. Having to "acknowledge that Lynch is the better women" too might suggest that WWE will keep the belt exactly where it is, but nah - it could do with jumping onto a big star for a while.

Becky doesn't quite carry the same 'oh no not again' aura Charlotte Flair does in 2025. You won't find many folks moaning if she wins this title for the first time and has some cracking matches for it over the summer months. Valkyria would survive, especially if WWE gives her more mic time with which to develop her personality on-air.

She really did knock it out of the park with that promo on Raw.
