WWE Night Of Champions 2025: 7 Nightmares That Could Come True

5. Jade Cargill Can’t Hang With Asuka

Mop your brow and rest easy, because Asuka is on the case. She's one of the absolute best wrestlers in the world on her day, and she's fully capable of masking a peer's shortcomings. That is, of course, unless said peer has a nightmare of an evening and can't get anything right. Please, please, please say that won't be the fate suffered by future Women's Champ and visually-impressive powerhouse Jade Cargill.

It'd suck if she tanked in such a high profile spot as a singles, but it isn't absurd to think the pressure could get to her. If so, then Asuka would need to be at her old NXT or WrestleMania best to make up for Jade's panicked moments. On Monday's edition of Raw, Cargill's match vs. Roxanne Perez in the semi finals was a good watch but did still have a few rough spots.

They're commonplace in Jade's matches, if only because she hasn't actually had that many featured single reps since signing with WWE. Truthfully, she hadn't done a lot of back and forth matches whilst on AEW's books either. Some, but certainly not enough to be considered seasoned before Triple H rolled out the welcome mats.

Here's the thing: Asuka will be tasked with guiding Jade through on Saturday, but she isn't 100% responsible for everything Cargill does. The powerhouse has to live up to her end of the bargain too, especially if she's going to become Queen Of The Ring then win a major title come SummerSlam.

Fingers crossed, but it's understandable if her biggest fans are chewing fingernails.
