WWE Night Of Champions Results: 10 Things We Learned

9. Neville Will Have Revenge On Stardust

The 6-man tag-team match set up for the pre-show 'Kickoff' was extremely well done. It would have been easy for the promotion to simply offer Stardust vs. Neville, but there's time for that. Inserting both The Ascension and The Lucha Dragons into the mix keeps them on screen, but it also made for a very fast-paced opener. Stardust's team emerged victorious, after the man himself hit Neville with the 'Queen's Crossbow' for the win. This seems to suggest that there are more matches upcoming, mainly between both men involved in the finish. The Ascension and The Lucha Dragons can have all the matches they want, but the main issue here is between the high-flying Neville and the out-there Stardust. The very nature of the match conclusion leaves things open for babyface retribution. Stardust shoved one of his partners into Neville before capitalising for the pin, which is an obvious heel tactic. Neither guy is in the frame for a title right now, so it makes sense that they'll continue their feud.
