The drama of the potential sale of TNA Wrestling keeps on growing, and yet, keeps on going nowhere.

Dave Meltzer with The Wrestling Observer has revealed some interesting news items as of late involving the situation. The last set of tapings was apparently the first time Billy Corgan had final say on everything, but that doesn't mean he'll always have that role, as everything is still very much up in the air.

Aroluxe Marketing and Corgan are still attempting to buy the company, but reportedly one other potential player has backed off completely, as has WWE. Meanwhile, Dixie Carter missed the last few days of tapings to meet with executives at The Fight Network, which is one of at least four parties that own a stake in the company.

Regarding the relationship between Corgan and Dixie, things are said to be "super heated" between them, as well as Aroluxe and John Gaburick (their Executive Vice President of Television and Talent Relations).

The next big deadline the company faces is in January, which is when a few of TNA's international TV deals come up.

In regards to WWE, Gaburick apparently went to Kevin Dunn to try and get a job back there if he could help land them the tape library. Dunn took that plan to McMahon, who apparently wasn't too keen on the idea.

Hopefully this situation doesn't drag out until Jan., but at this point it's hard to imagine things being settled quickly and amicably between every party.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW.
