Being a pro for her, Goldust knew a lot about her feelings, and they cared for each other, and thus decided to marry. This couple did not last long due to a few tragic events, however, for the short while they lasted, it was a fun and entertaining pair. The most long lasting couple of NXT, Goldust and Aksana had an excellent pro-rookie relationship before they converted it into a love relationship. After Goldust proposed, Aksana and Goldust married with Goldust's family witnessing the marriage. However, Aksana ditched him soon and stole the Million Dollar Championship, but that angle seemingly did not go anywhere, due to the fact that the DiBiase/Goldie feud was canceled. However, Aksana turned heel and Goldust was distraught. Currently, Goldust is sitting on the bench, waiting for his time to shine. He is a legend already, but he, like everyone else, is clamoring for a Cody Rhodes vs Goldust match for the Intercontinental Championship. A grudge match would also be perfectly fine. Aksana, on the other hand, is wrestling on the roster, but does not have a storyline currently, which is a waste because she is massively talented.
