Having been attacked and injured on this week's NXT, Wendy Choo is reportedly deal with a legitimate injury issue right now.

Today's episode of Wrestling Observer Radio saw Wendy's injury situation discussed, with Bryan Alvarez noting how the talent is dealing with some sort of shoulder injury, before Dave Meltzer jumped in to mock how NXT opts "to do this same angle over and over again" whenever a wrestler is legitimately hurt.

Alvarez also discussed the injury on Twitter and noted how it's believed to not be too serious, although Choo is expected to miss some ring time.

For those who missed it, Wendy Choo was the latest person to fall victim to an attack in the Performance Center parking lot. This week's NXT broadcast saw Wendy left laying by a mystery attack, much like what has recently happened with Nikkita Lyons. In Lyons' case, she was written off TV after unfortunately suffering a torn ALC and meniscus; an injury that's expected to keep the 23-year-old out of action for a large part of 2023.

As for Wendy Choo, she last wrestled on the 16 February edition of WWE Main Event, where she picked up a victory over Dana Brooke.

Being fully aware of the pitfalls of the Performance Center carpark, Choo herself has taken to Twitter to comment on this setback.
