WWE is reportedly planning on shaking up its Raw commentary team for next week's special 'Season Premiere' episode.

With SmackDown getting its own 'Season Premiere' this week, WrestleVotes reports that on top of Monday's announce team getting switched up, both main roster brands will experience other minor alterations:-

I’m told to expect a commentary change on RAW with the season premiere this coming week. Other minor aspects of both shows are also set to get altered as well.

There is currently no word on what, exactly, this "commentary change" will entail.

Jimmy Smith, Corey Graves, and Byron Saxton provide the currently Raw lineup. Smith serves as the primary play-by-play announcer with Graves and Saxton on colour commentary. This has been the case since May 2021, when Smith, a former Bellator announcer, came into the promotion in the wake of Adnan Virk's quickfire departure.

Graves is currently pulling double duty on WWE's main roster, filling Pat McAfee's seat alongside Michael Cole on SmackDown while the former punter is working on NFL coverage.

WWE's 'Season Premiere' shows have become an annual tradition since the company's bumper content rights fees kicked in in October 2019. This year's sound like they will be eventful if nothing else.
