Every individual fan will have their favourite announce squad, and it's fair to say that Mauro Ranallo on SmackDown Live has much more of an in-ring focus than Michael Cole generally. That wasn't the case during the Sheamus vs. Cesaro match on this week's Raw. Cole was on top form and brimming with excitement.

The story here was that Sheamus desperately wanted to end the 'Best Of 7 Series' that has been raging on between the pair. Meanwhile, Cesaro was scratching and fighting for his life to even the score at 3-3, thus necessitating a seventh bout come Clash Of Champions. Narrating the action, Cole, Byron Saxton, and Corey Graves were superb.

Specifically, Michael Cole showed what can be achieved when an announcer is passionate about what he's seeing. If you usually watch Raw with a group of friends or in a noisy environment, grab those headphones and watch Cesaro vs. Sheamus again.

If you do, you'll find it hard not to get invested in the last few minutes of the match. Cole's urgency was second to none, and it'd be nice to see more of that across the board.
