Sitting around one mile above sea level, Denver is a place of high altitude. The Colorado city's nickname is even the 'Mile-High City'. Leave it to the fantastic Corey Graves then to make this part of his commentary on Monday Night Raw. The announcer deserves credit for this, even if it happened so quickly that many may have missed it entirely.

Some dislike the three-man dynamic WWE prefer nowadays on commentary. There's no doubt that Graves has been a great addition to the Raw broadcast booth though, he really complements Michael Cole and Byron Saxton well. During Chris Jericho's opening match with Seth Rollins, Graves was on fire.

As the bout raced towards a conclusion, both wrestlers looked like they were sucking wind and looking for respite. Superbly selling their tiredness, Corey theorised that the high altitude in Denver would be making things much tougher for Jericho and Rollins.

Sadly, this wasn't a recurring theme for the night. The thinner air isn't an everyday problem, however it could (in theory at least) pose problems for those locked in battle mid-ring. What a line from Graves.
