The Summer of 2015 was a tough one for the legendary Hulk Hogan. Caught amidst allegations of racism, the 'Hulkster' had his contract with WWE terminated. Going for broke, the promotion even deleted much of Hogan's presence on their official website. It was a confusing time, especially considering Hulk had been acting as an ambassador for Vince McMahon.

Since the outburst of public fury towards Hulk, he has not been seen on WWE television. In fact, announcers have barely even mentioned the icon's name at all. That all changed on the latest episode of Raw, Hogan was featured during the hype for Goldberg's return.

It was a smart move for WWE to add context to the former WCW man's comeback, some younger fans wouldn't know who he is or what he has achieved. During one such flashback, Michael Cole talked about Goldberg beating Hollywood Hogan for the WCW World Title in July, 1998.

There was something remarkable about seeing Hulk clearly showcased on WWE TV again. Could this be the beginning of Hogan's own path of redemption in WWE?
